BERKELEY, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team capped of the Cal Fall Invitational on a high note as Jessica Kaye earned her first collegiate singles win and Anneroos Nederstigt won the Gold Singles Consolation bracket.
Kaye went head-to-head with Abigail Bacharach of Cal Poly and beat her in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 to win her first ever collegiate singles match.
Nederstigt came into the day determined for a title as she began the day with a big semifinal win over host Davis 3-6, 6-1, 1-0(7) to send her to the finals where she would meet Sofia Gulnova from Sacramento State.
