STOCKTON – Pacific coach Kerri Scroope knows improvement doesn’t always happen in huge strides, but rather appears in small steps.
Scroope saw her Tigers scrap from the opening whistle Sunday and trail by just a single score against Santa Clara at the half.
But the high-powered Broncos pulled away in the second half for a 3-0 West Coast Conference victory over Pacific as Tigers fans got their final glimpse of 10 seniors playing in their last home match on Sunday at Knoles Field.
The prolific Broncos won their fourth straight contest having outscored opponents 12-3 in their previous three games.
