STOCKTON, Calif. - Goals by Katelyn Chandler and Taylor Ayers helped the Pacific women's soccer team shut out visiting Cal State Bakersfield 2-0 on Friday night in Pacific's final non-conference match of the regular season. Henriikka Mäkelä recorded four saves in her first career shutout victory between the posts.
"This is a great win to take us into conference play," said head coach Kerri Scroope. "We know every game will be a battle and we know that we're in this. We're putting the ball in the back of the net when it counts most and we're getting a lot of confidence.
