Stockton, Calif. - In the finale of a three game West Coast Conference series, the Pacific Softball team was bested by Santa Clara by a final score of 8-1, as the Broncos used three home runs to sink the Tigers. Pacific sits at 18-16 (1-2 WCC) while Santa Clara is now 7-30 (2-1 WCC) on the season.
The Tigers struck first after starting pitcher Cassidy Gustafson pitched a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the first inning. Sara Anderson singled to shortstop and Haylee Moran-Rowen followed with a single of her own on the infield.
