Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific field hockey team returned to Stockton this week with a nine-game winning streak in hand and non-conference play over, ready to defend their America East West Division crown. The Tigers will start conference play this week with a game against Stanford in Palo Alto on Sunday, October 9 at noon.
Pacific won all three of their games last week, defeating Missouri State 5-1 and Appalachian State 6-2 to start things off. The 4-3 win against Davidson ending the week snapped Pacific's streak of eight games in a row scoring five or more goals but kept the winning streak alive and well.
