Tigers Battle at Capital Cross Challenge

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Pacific cross country team returned to the course as they competed at the Sacramento Capital Cross Challenge on Saturday at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course. Overall the Tigers placed 18th in the meet, ahead of PAC-12 powerhouse California and West Coast Conference foe Pepperdine.

For the third time this season, Jasmine Gonzales paced the Tigers across the finish line with a time of 22:05.8 in the 6K race at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course, which was good for 40th place in the field and was a course-best for the sophomore. Emma Winkler followed across the line with a time of 22:56.
