Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers field hockey team announced their 2016 schedule today. The season will start off with an exhibition game against the Olympic Club on August 21 at 2:00 pm before the Tigers take on 2013 and 2014 national champion Connecticut at home on the Pacific Field Hockey Turf on August 28th at noon. Connecticut went 22-1 in 2015, falling to eventual champion Syracuse in the semi-finals. Pacific has only played Connecticut once in its history: the Tigers fell 4-0 in 1983 at Storrs.
Pacific will host its annual Alumni Game on September 3 at noon and play the Kent State Golden Flashes on September 5 at 3:00 pm before embarking on a five-game road trip.
