Stockton, Calif. - After a huge September, the Pacific men's soccer team was named one of the five finalists for the Hero Sports Team of the Month. The voting for the award is still open and fans can vote here.
The Tigers went 6-1 in September, winning six straight games to end the month at 7-2 overall. Pacific allowed just three goals in their six wins, including a 2-0 shutout victory over No. 11 San Diego State in San Diego on September 23.
That big win streak has helped Pacific move to No. 18 in the RPI, their highest ranking in the history of the program.
