The Pacific men’s and women’s basketball teams wrapped up a week that saw the two Tiger crews mirror each other in the win-loss column. On Thursday, the men’s team picked up a 70-61 win over the Portland Pilots at home in front of a blacked-out crowd on Student and Faculty Night.
Meanwhile, the women’s team took care of business in Portland, leaving Oregon with a 72-64 victory. Unfortunately, both Pacific teams fell to Gonzaga on Saturday, the women suffering a 61-68 loss in Spokane and the men dropping a 61-71 decision at the Spanos Center.
The men’s effort against Portland was highlighted by strong performances from starters Ray Bowles ’17 and T.
