With three-quarters of the field set, there have not been any surprises in the Stockton Regional.
The first three teams to qualify for the Sweet 16 in this region are the top three seeds – No. 1 South Carolina, No. 2 Oregon State and No. 3 Florida State. They will all be in town when tournament resumes Saturday and Monday at Stockton Arena. It is the first time Stockton is hosting a basketball tournament of this magnitude, and preparations have been going on for more than two years.
While the trip to Stockton will be a new experience for most of the players, one freshman on Oregon State will be very familiar with the surroundings.
