The Current State of Pacific Men’s Basketball

We are 23 games into the 2017-2018 season. Pacific men’s basketball currently stands at a 10-13 record (5-5 in conference play) in the midst of their second season under head coach Damon Stoudamire.

The team is fresh off a game against BYU (18-5) on Saturday, with the Tigers falling 65-80 thanks to an impressive performance by Yoeli Childs. The sophomore came off the bench to score 26 points after being questionable to even play the game due to illness. The second half performance for both teams proved to be the difference, since Pacific was outscored by 18 in the final two quarters.
