STOCKTON, Calif. - After ending 2016 with a host of new school records, the Tigers will start the new year on the road against the Stanford Cardinal, the fourth-ranked men's team in the nation. The meet will come this Friday, beginning at 11:00 am. It will be the third ranked team the Tigers have faced on the men's side this year, having also swam against Cal, currently ranked first, and Denver, ranked 24th.
Stanford also took part in the Pacific Invitational earlier this year, making this the second matchup between these two teams this season. In that meet, the Cardinal took third with 578 points, just ahead of Pacific with 459.
