Stockton, Calif. - Head Coach Peter Richardson announced the hiring of Katelyne Herrington as Assistant Swim Coach today. Herrington comes to the University of the Pacific from the University of New Mexico where she was the swimming director of operations. Prior to her time at UNM, the former UNLV All-American was a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater.
Richardson was excited about the hire, saying that "as an athlete, Katelyne was one of the best butterfliers in the country. Her attention to detail in regards to turns and dolphin kicking will be key to continuing our growth as a program.
