Pacific men’s basketball coach Damon Stoudamire is in the process of hiring former Idaho coach Leonard Perry as an assistant, according to a source.
On Thursday, several news sources reported that Perry will be the associate head coach at Pacific. The hire is expected to be made official in May. Pacific athletics would not confirm the hire, and Stoudamire was not made available for comment Thursday.
Perry, 47, has spent the past four seasons as the associate head coach at Colorado State under Larry Eustachy.
