The good news? Buddy Robinson extended his scoring streak to 10 games with a third-period goal.
The bad? That was all the Stockton Heat got in a 2-1 loss on the road Sunday against San Jose.
The Barracuda already had a 2-0 lead when Robinson cut the deficit in half. Jon Gillies saved 31 of 33 shots for Stockton, but didn’t get enough offensive support for the Heat to earn a win.
The score was 1-0 after a period of play, which was the lowest scoring first period in a Heat game since Dec. 29 at Tucson.
