PALO ALTO, Calif. - In a midweek nonconference matchup against Stanford, the Pacific softball team shutout the Cardinal Wednesday night by a final score of 6-0.
The Tigers drove home six runs off seven hits and allowed just one hit to clinch their 13th win of the season. Kenya Lindstrom made her mark in the circle for the Tigers pitching a full 7.0 innings of work and registering her third career shutout victory.
Pacific improves to 13-25 on the year while Stanford drops to an overall record of 22-20.
"Obviously in regards to tonight's game you have to start in the circle with Kenya," Head Coach Brian Kolze said.
