St. Mary’s High volleyball team was swept the first time it met Tracy this season, and Wednesday’s match certainly didn’t get off to a good start for the Rams. Then they turned things around and won a key Tri-City Athletic League matchup.
St. Mary’s rallied to beat the Bulldogs 13-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-16 at Tracy. The result created a tie atop the TCAL between the Rams (26-5, 7-1) and Bulldogs (27-6, 7-1).
“The most important thing for us is that we didn’t lose our composure,” St. Mary’s head coach Joe Wortmann said. “We’ve been moving in a great direction.
