Stockton, Calif. - In a midweek excursion from conference play, the Pacific Softball team took on the No. 20 ranked Fresno State Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 4-0 despite holding the Bulldogs scoreless in all but one frame. Fresno State used a big fifth inning to sink the Tigers, who fall to 19-19 overall. Fresno State now sits at 30-9-1 after the program's 13th consecutive victory.
Pacific sent Cassidy Gustafson (4-5) to the circle, matching up against Taylor Langdon (2-1). Each pitcher tossed scoreless frames in the first four innings, with the Tigers stranding runners in scoring position in the first and fourth innings.
