Moraga, Calif. - In the rubber match of a three game conference set, the Saint Mary's Gaels used a late run in the bottom of the sixth inning to sink the Pacific Softball team by a final score of 3-2. Pacific fell behind in the bottom of the first, 1-0, but rallied back to take a 2-1 lead before faltering in the late innings. Pacific is now 19-18 on the season (2-4 WCC) while Saint Mary's improves to 18-20-1 (5-1 WCC) on the season.
Pacific sent freshman hurler Kenya Lindstrom (4-6) to the circle against Lujane Mussadi (7-9) of the Gaels, who was making her second consecutive start after a 1-0 victory on Saturday night.
