Pacific women's soccer and Pacific Track and Field announced the signing of Emily Counter, an athlete from Modesto that will compete for both teams starting in 2019-20. Counter, who is currently a senior at James C. Enochs High School in Modesto, is a four-sport athlete competing in soccer, track and field, volleyball and basketball.
As a soccer player, Counter played as a forward, outside defender and goalkeeper at James C. Enochs. For the last two years, she's played her club soccer for San Juan South and has also featured for Ajax United and Manteca FC where she earned an award for her leadership.
