STOCKTON – The Pacific campus is relatively quiet.
The students are on summer break.
But Thursday morning inside Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium, Pacific guards Kendall Small and Miles Reynolds made plenty of noise while hard at work with assistant coach JayDee Luster. No fans, no Pacific Pep Band, no Tiger Dancers, no opponent; just a bouncing basketball, squeaking shoes, a few cones and a lot of sweat.
Small and Reynolds, incoming transfers from Oregon and St. Louis, respectively, sat out last season per NCAA transfer rules and are anxious to play next season.
