Six-Run First Propels Tigers to 7-2 Win

STOCKTON, Calif. - Two three-run home runs in the first inning helped propel the Tigers to a 7-3 win over Portland State on Sunday. The game was called in the sixth inning due to time constraints. Marissa Young threw four strong innings, giving up two earned with four strikeouts as she got her third win of the season. Cassidy Gustafson pitched two innings in relief striking out three and went 2-for-2 at the plate with a three run home run. The win brings the Tigers to 10-9 on the year while drops the Vikings to 1-14.
