STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific women's basketball graduate Emily Simons has signed to play professionally in her native Australia. Simons will join the Frankston Blues of the Southeast Australian Basketball League for the upcoming season.
Simons, who came to Pacific from Doncaster, Australia, will be joining a team just 32 miles from her hometown before the Blues' June 22nd game against the Canberra Capitals.
In her four years with the Tigers, Simons shot 52.8 percent from the from the field, the second best percentage in program history (among players with at least 200 made field goals).
