STOCKTON — David Taylor has looked like a different player this season.

At times last season, the 6-foot-3 guard appeared to lack confidence and seemed lost on the court. But Taylor is off to a fast start his senior season, averaging 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game for the Pacific men’s basketball team (1-2) which plays host to Wyoming (3-0) at 7 p.m. today at Spanos Center.

“I’m just trying to have fun; this is my last year,” said Taylor, who grew up in Eckersdorf, Germany. “I’m trying to help the team win. Right now we’re just trying to improve every day.
