SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Pacific women's tennis wrapped up play at the Battle in the Bay Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Maayan Sela concluded tournament play with a 6-3, 6-1 loss to San Francisco's Hanna Borjeson in a consolation match.
"Maayan competed well and had opportunities to be up 5-4 in the first set instead of losing 6-3, but that is tennis and now we know we have to go home and work on a plan to hopefully change our outcome next weekend. The nice thing is we have plenty of opportunities ahead of us," said head coach Tina Samara.
