Stockton, Calif. – Samia Adam of the Pacific women's soccer team will head to Cameroon next week to join the Egyptian National Team as it competes in the Africa Women Cup of Nations.
A defender from Santa Clara, Calif., Adam has been a stalwart on the Tiger backline for the past three seasons. She logged her first collegiate goal against nationally-ranked UC Santa Barbara earlier this year and is tied for the team lead in goals this season with three. Adam also paces the Tigers with two assists and eight points. Her father Ahmed participated in track & field for the Egyptian National Team from 1984 until 1986.
