STOCKTON – The majority of the Delta College football team’s starters will be making their collegiate debuts on Saturday morning.
Making the jump from high school to college is a stressful task, to be sure. But waking up a little earlier than originally planned? Piece of cake.
The Mustangs’ body clocks will be ready to roll when they face Sacramento City College in their season opener at 10 a.m. Saturday at DeRicco Field.
“Our guys lift at 6:30 in the morning. They’re used to it. And we practice a couple days a week at 6:30 in the morning,” Delta head coach Gary Barlow said Wednesday evening.
