SANTA CLARA, Calif. - In the series finale in Santa Clara, the Pacific Tigers defeated the Broncos, 6-2 as both the Tiger offense and defense posted strong showings.
Ricky Reynoso never saw more than five batters in an inning as he started and held Santa Clara in check for the first seven innings giving up only one earned run on six hits and punching out a season high and career tying nine batters. Reynoso recorded the win and improves to 5-6.
James Free II went 3-for-5 with three runs batter in including his 13th and 14th home runs of the season, while Danny Mayer also tacked on a solo homer and a hit.
