STOCKTON, Calif. - Ricky Reynoso tossed eight shutout innings, while Danny Mayer plated an RBI double as the Pacific baseball team shutout Portland, 2-0, Sunday afternoon to win a West Coast Conference weekend series.
Reynoso allowed just two hits in eight innings, striking out six for his fourth win of the season.
Pacific plated both runs in the bottom of the sixth, as Matt Tarantino doubled down the left field line and after Ryan Schalch reached on an error, Mayer ripped a double to left for a run. Lucas Halstead followed with a sacrifice fly for a 2-0 lead.
