STOCKTON — In the minutes prior to Saturday’s California Community College Athletic Association NorCal Regional contest between Delta and Skyline, Mustangs second baseman Carlos Moseley predicted he and his teammates would get the best of the opposing pitcher early.
By the 31st pitch, Moseley’s forecast came true as the Mustangs had a single, two doubles, a home run and a 4-0 lead en route to a decisive 10-3 victory at Nick Cecchetti Field. Delta swept the best-of-three series and now must wait to find out if it will host a second-round series.
