STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men’s basketball team has announced that junior forward TySean Powell will not be returning for the 2017-18 season.
“TySean and I sat in my office and discussed in detail his future with the program and he decided that leaving Pacific was what was best for him,” expressed head coach Damon Stoudamire.
Powell did not play for the Tigers last season due to NCAA transfer rules. Prior to joining the Pacific family Powell spent two seasons at Duquesne, a Division I institution out of Pittsburg, Penn. He played 55 games for the Dukes, shooting 58.
