The third time was not a charm for University of the Pacific’s women’s basketball team
The Tigers beat Portland the first two times they played it this season, but couldn’t due it again on Saturday as the Pilots won 76-69 in the quarterfinals of the West Coast Conference Tournament at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The loss ended the season for the Tigers (17-14), at least for now. There are postseason possibilities, but Pacific head coach Bradley Davis said he does not know the chances of his team playing on at this point.
