Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific volleyball team suffered its first West Coast Conference loss off the season as Pepperdine invaded the Alex G. Spanos Center for a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-20, 25-23) Thursday.
Ashlyn Fleming recorded 12 kills while hitting .429 and posting three blocks. Lauren Cline chipped in a career-high eight kills on 13 swings to hit .538. But the Tigers hit just .137 for the match (33-19-102), while Pepperdine converted at .276 (40-13-98) and out-blocked Pacific 9-5.
Pepperdine utilized a balanced attack with Jasmine Gross posting nine kills, Tarah Wylie and Hannah Frohling each adding eight.
