Penn State tops Pacific again

STOCKTON — After allowing just three runs to conclude a three-game sweep a week ago, the Pacific baseball team was humbled Sunday at Klein Family Field when it allowed at least 10 runs for the third consecutive game.

Penn State's 11-2 victory over the Tigers was nearly a repeat of Saturday's 11-4 win, and the Nittany Lions are on the cusp of a three-game sweep of their own. Penn State (4-5) and Pacific (4-5) will conclude their three-game series at 6 p.m. Monday.

"It's tough because we definitely put ourselves in a hole early in all three games we've played," Pacific coach Mike Neu said.
