STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers completed the doubleheader sweep of the Seattle Redhawks with the 7-5 win tonight, moving to 8-6 on the season and dropping Seattle to 5-10. The win gives Pacific a chance for its second series sweep of the season and its first sweep of a four-game series since winning all four against Coppin State in 2003.
"The main thing for us today [in the doubleheader] was to remain focused and keep that energy," said Ryan Schalch, who had the walk-off sacrifice fly in game one. "Our coaches advocate to repeat every day and every pitch, so that's just what we're trying to do.
