STOCKTON – Pacific’s volleyball team came rolling into conference play with confidence, and didn’t slow down as it won its first two West Coast Conference matches.
But Thursday was a reminder that the young Tigers still have some work to do.
Ninth-ranked BYU, a traditional league power, swept Pacific 25-19, 25-17, 26-24 at Spanos Center in the first meeting of the season between the two schools. The Tigers dropped to 10-5, 2-1 in the WCC, and learned a few things.
“It is a process,” Pacific head coach Greg Gibbons said. “I think we did some good things.
