The Pacific women’s soccer team hosted Nevada in its second match of the season Sunday, falling 2-1 at Knoles Field.
The two teams played to a scoreless stalemate through the first 45 minutes of the game. In the 53rd minute of play, however, Pacific sophomore Isabella Pariente broke open the scoring with a goal on an assist from fellow sophomore Jenae Packard.
It was all the offense the Tigers could get, though. In the 68th minute, Nevada tied the game on a goal by Gabby Brown. Then, less than two minutes later, the Wolfpack’s Alexis Friesen delivered the go-ahead goal.
