The Pacific women's basketball team was part of another thriller Saturday afternoon when they pulled out a 68-66 overtime victory at Saint Mary’s, ending a 3-game losing streak.
Valerie Higgins made a layup with 11 seconds remaining to put Pacific up 67-66 in the extra period and the Tigers scored five of its seven overtime points at the free-throw line to secure the win.
Three Pacific players scored in double figures, led by Brooklyn McDavid’s 20 points on 9 of 17 shooting. Sofie Tryggedsson added 17 points while Higgins chipped in 16 and added 13 rebounds to record a double-double.
