STOCKTON – The Pacific women’s basketball team is confident it can win games in a number of ways.
On Friday, defense and the long-range shot were the keys as Tigers beat the University of Missouri-Kansas City 89-60 in the season opener at the Spanos Center
Brooklyn McDavid led the Tigers with 26 points. She said the Tigers were excited about opening the Preseason Women’s National Invitational Tournament at home. It’s the first time they’ve played in the event since 2001.
“We have a lot of new girls, a lot of great shooters this year,” the junior said, “a lot of added depth.
