STOCKTON — Sitting on the bench for more than a year was painful for six members of the Pacific women’s basketball team.
Callie Kaiser is a transfer from Colorado State and among those students itching to play in games again after the mandatory NCAA sit-out period.
In her first game in a Tigers uniform, an exhibition Friday against visiting UC Merced, Kaiser led Pacific with 14 points.
“Sitting out last year was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,” Kaiser said. “Just watching our team and seeing how good we are. And then coming out today .
