STOCKTON, Calif. – 150 students from Kohl Open Elementary School in Stockton participated in the Annually-hosted Pacific Sports Day, hosted on campus Tuesday morning.
The yearly tradition brings students from the Stockton community on to the Pacific campus, where Tiger student-athletes play a number of games and teach skills involved with their specific sports.
"In my first year as the Pacific Student Athlete Council (PSAC), I helped lead the charge in planning this year's event and the main focus for our group of student athletes was to provide show the kids how the values that are learned in the classroom can also be used in athletics," explained PSAC President Melissa Ma.
