The Pacific women’s volleyball team played a home contest in Aptos on Saturday. A change of venue, however, didn’t help the Tigers against No. 1 BYU.
Pacific switched its home contest from Stockton to Cabrillo College after concerns with the air quality index in town forced the Pacific campus to close. The Tigers still dropped a match against BYU in straight set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.
The Tigers are now 12-16 and 7-10 in the West Coast Conference while BYU remains undefeated at 27-0 and 17-0.
Kaitlyn Lines had 11 kills for Pacific, with Jadyn Tubbs delivering eight digs and Hanne De Scrijver compiling 34 assists.
