STOCKTON, Calif. – Its opening weekend for West Coast Conference play. The Pacific women's volleyball team will travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on Portland tomorrow night before traveling to Gonzaga on Saturday.
Pacific is coming off of a split in last weekend's WCC/Pac-12 Showdown, opening the weekend with a 3-0 loss to No. 4 Stanford. Then in Saturday's home opener, in front of a just over 1,000 fans, the Tigers clawed their way back from a 2-1 deficit to defeat California in five sets.
