LARAMIE, Wyo. – The Pacific Tigers men's basketball team has never won in the state of Wyoming. The 2017-18 squad will have a chance to be the first to accomplish the feat when the Tigers take on the Wyoming Cowboys at Arena Auditorium on Saturday afternoon, with tip-off set for 3 p.m. PT. It will mark Pacific's first visit to Wyoming since Jan. 7, 1977 when the Tigers narrowly lost by a final of 56-54. The Tigers and Cowboys played last season at the Alex G. Spanos Center and Pacific came away with a 73-65 victory.
Saturday's game also affords Pacific an opportunity to get back on a winning track after its three-game win streak was snapped on Wednesday with a 71-67 loss at UC Davis.
