STOCKTON — This was the solid four quarters the Pacific women’s basketball team has been waiting for.
Kaylin Randhawa made a three-pointer 42 seconds into the game and the Tigers never trailed as they trounced Southern Methodist University 77-49 on Saturday afternoon in the finals of the Tiger Turkey Tip-Off at Spanos Center.
In Friday’s win against Indiana State, guard Valerie Higgins said the Tigers may have won again, but they hadn’t played what she called a “four-quarter game.” She updated that assessment after they blew out the Mustangs.
“It was amazing to see us pull together a four quarter game,” said Higgins, who led the Tigers with 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
