Obviously, the Pacific women's basketball team would like to be playing in the 2017 NCAA Stockton Regional in March.
Saturday's doubleheader with the Tigers men at Stockton Arena, one of four sites for the women's Sweet 16 this March, may serve as extra motivation.
The women play Fresno State at 5 p.m., followed by the men taking on Rider. The 12,000-seat venue seats about twice as many fans as Spanos Center.
Women's coach Bradley Davis said the experience of playing at a "neutral site", but in front of home fans, is good for his players.
"Playing in different situations, like playing in Pauley Pavilion (at UCLA) and at North Carolina last year, just prepares us better for the postseason," Davis said.
