Pacific Sweeps Portland

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team inches closer and closer to securing a third place finish in the West Coast Conference after a convincing, 3-0, win over Portland on Saturday afternoon at the Alex. G. Spanos Center.

The Tigers, who improve to 15-13 overall and 10-7 in conference play defeated the Pilots by set scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-17. Portland falls to 15-14, 6-11 in the WCC.

It did not take long for the Tigers take control in the first set. After starting off at 3-2 Pacific went on a 5-0 run that gave a comfortable 7-2 lead.
