Stockton, Calif. - For the second year in a row, the Pacific Tigers shut out the Stanford Cardinal at home, this time between the No. 15 Cardinal 1-0 on the Pacific Field Hockey Turf. Savannah Burns scored the only goal of the game as Pacific has now won 11 of its last 12 games.
The 11 wins on the year for Pacific ties the program record for wins. The Tigers, who also won 11 games last year, still have three games left to try and top that record.
"Last weekend we didn't feel we did ourselves justice," said Head Coach Andy Smith about their loss at Stanford last week.
