University of the Pacific’s men’s soccer team begins a tough week of competition today.
The Tigers play host to UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. today at Knoles Field, and then hit the road to take on UC Irvine on Sunday. That game is also at 7 p.m.
Pacific (3-1-1) is coming off of a 1-1 tie against Sacramento State on Sept. 22 in a contest in which their only score was an own goal by the Hornets.
The Gauchos (5-2-0) are riding a four-game winning streak and have won eight in a row against the Tigers.
