SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific men's golf team registered its best finish of the 2018-19 seasons, finishing fifth at the Sacramento State Invitational.
The two-day event took place at the par-72 Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, Calif.
The Tigers finished just one stroke out of fourth after totaling 867 (+3), trailing Cal Baptist (866, +2), Grand Canyon (855, -9), Long Beach State (854, -10), and tournament champion Cal State Fullerton (847, -17).
Winning the individual title was Fullerton's Jack Dyer with a 10-under par 206.
After shooting a team-high 75 in the first round, Beau Forest shot a 68 and 72 in the final two rounds to finish 16th overall.
